My "Mommy" Bag

Before Hermione was born I started my search for the perfect diaper bag. I had it in my head that I had to buy a bag specifically made for toting baby essentials from diapers, to toys, to a change of clothes. I have gone through three diapers bags in the past two plus years looking for the perfect fit. They either screamed "baby bag" way too loudly, were too clunky to carry, didn't hang on my stroller well, or didn't hold up well to spills and wear and tear. That all changed at the beginning of this summer. Even though Hermione is now well into toddler hood I still need a bag big enough to tote around diapers, wipes, snacks, juice,water bottles, as well my wallet and other personal essentials. I finally found my perfect bag and I couldn't be more obsessed. The Postal Crossbody by Kempton and Co. is super chic and still very functional. Made from repurposed mail carrier bags no two are alike. It is extremely spacious, has worn in like a dream, and is super light weight. I have been carrying it every single day where ever I go!

To keep my new perfect Mommy Bag well organized I purchased a few Kempton and Co. pouches to keep my essentials sorted.  One pouch is filled my my own essentials such as hand cream, a few reusable shopping bags, sunblock, lip gloss, hair ties and my wallet. The other has a few diapers, a travel pack of wipes, a change of clothes and sunblock for Hermione. With my stuff and Hermione's separated it is easy to lighten my load when Hermione is not with me. Also having a Hermione "go pouch" packed and ready means whoever is taking care of her from her nanny to grandma to daddy will have all the essentials they need. Talk about mommy peace of mind!

I love that Kempton and Co. was founded by a mom like me. Everything designer Fiona makes is equal parts chic, unique and functional. I see many more of her gorgeous bags in my future... in fact I have my eye on this gorgeous cross body for fall!.
